Welcome to St Anselm's Church!
We are always happy to welcome visitors and newcomers of all ages to our church.

The times of each service are listed here. Our experiences page is designed to help you decide which service is right for you, as each one has a very different feel. If you are visiting for the first time, please introduce yourself to the churchwardens or the Reader- this is usually easier at the end of the service. There are duty wardens and sidespersons at the back of the church before the service begins. They hand out service sheets and make sure that everything runs smoothly. Please ask them if there is any information that you might need.

Disabled Access
If you have a disability, we hope that you will find the following information helpful:
The front entrance on Clifton Avenue, is wide and level, so wheelchair access is straightforward.
All toilets, including a disabled WC, are at the back of the church, on the left hand side as you come in.
We have a hearing induction loop.
There are various points in the service where we stand, kneel or sit. Please do whatever is comfortable and safe for you at these times.
There are several steps leading up to the altar and communion rail. If you would prefer communion to be brought to you in the congregation, the Vicar would be happy to do this for you. Please speak to the Duty Warden before the service, so that he can let the vicar know before the service begins.
Some books are available in large print – please ask!
Disabled access to the church hall is via Ventnor Avenue. You will find a parking bay marked out for your use.
